A communications facility or channel, including feeder and local distribution plant, having a termination in a center in the telecommunications network. Examples of such a link include (but are not necessarily restricted to): optical-fiber cable, coaxial cable, metallic cables, transmitting and receiving antenna. [After T1.328-1995]
