Pseudo Automatic Number Identification (pANI)

A 10-digit number used for the purpose of routing 911 calls to the appropriate Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP). PANIs include but are not limited to: ESRD, ESRK, and ESQK numbers. If a NANP TN is used as a pANI, this number cannot be assigned to a customer. See “Administrative Numbers” definition.
